Giabeat in-line remote pictures
Managed to locate these two pics of the remote (Japanese website). No guarantee this is the actual remote, but the ear pieces looks just like the ones on the official website.

No idea of cost... unfortunatly. I have not seen a remote with display, but then again I have not seen the remote pictured here with the US version of the F40/60 either. It is possible that the remote wont look anything like this...

Yes, I have yet to see it listed here, but it is available in Japan as after-purchase.
