Vongo update
I tried out the Vongo movie/tv subscription service a while back. Vongo has a decent library of movies, and the software is pretty easy to use. But, the problem I had and several other users as well was that the software kept asking me to re-register my Gigabeat S30. That in itself might not be too bad, but in order to re-register my Gigabeat I had to call Vongo customer support. Needless to say I grew tired of that real quick.
So today I rebooted my PC and while windows was taking its usual slow time starting Vongo alerted me that they have an new update. I installed the update and was pleasantly surprised to see that I can now remove and re-register a device under My Account settings.

I'm going to give Vongo a second chance this week and catch up on some good movies on the go...

Hey, Tomas...I see that you can associate Vongo with up to 3 different devices under the same account. Do you happen to know if the service will work with a Sony PSP?
Also, are there any TV shows available for download on Vongo?
Thanks!

Vongo still has problems with the Gigabeat. I just got a MEV30K for my birthday, and Vongo refuses to recognize it. (Windows and Media Player see it fine)
I read a review in Laptop Magazine where they talked about being unable to get it working despite spending a whole day on the phone with support. Thanks, but I've got better things to do with my time than help some company troubleshoot their buggy product for free, ya know?
To answer Randy's question, yes, they have TV shows. The easiest way to check out Vongo's selection is to install the software. Just click Cancel when it asks you to logon and you can browse their library.
How's the selection? Well, let's put it this way: they have every Jim Varney "Ernest" movie ever made, knowhutahmean? - Sat Feb 10, 05:36:00 AM 2007
